The office of LGBTQ+ Student Services invites our LGBTQ+ graduates to honor their accomplishments during the Class of 2023 Rainbow Graduation.
Celebrate this graduation with chosen family and friends, along with RU-N faculty and staff members that have supported students along their academic journey. Participants will receive a special Rainbow Stoll for commencement.
To sign up, please RSVP in advance of the program.
- Affinity celebrations are student-led, staff supported events that serve as a space to celebrate the accomplishments of graduates while centering their shared cultural traditions and community values.
- Affinity celebrations are open to all Rutgers-Newark graduates; pre-registration is required.
- Current Rutgers-Newark students interested in serving on a student planning committee can reach out to the host student organization for that respective ceremony or contact the Intercultural Resource Center (IRC) for more information.
