pantryRUN

All Rutgers-Newark community members (students, staff, faculty) have access to pantryRUN as a completely free resource for groceries, including dairy, grains, fresh produce, and more. There is no eligibility process, order online here and pick up your order at the pantry in PRCC 226. When picking up your groceries for the first time, you'll be asked to answer a few questions and receive a free reusable bag to bring back with you.

pantryRUN food pantry provides free, healthy groceries to any student or staff who is having difficulty affording or accessing enough nutritious food. We’re here to support your goal of graduating from Rutgers! We are a proud member of the MEND coalition of pantries.

Students can access pantryRUN Emergency Packs throughout campus if pantryRUN is closed. These packs are meant to help for one or two days until the student can access pantryRUN and other assistance resources. Packs are available to all students, no questions asked. Click here to view a map of emergency pack locations and hours. Emergency bags at RUPD are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Be sure to check hours for all other locations. Student having difficulty accessing food can also apply to receive emergency swipes through our Swipe Out Hunger program. Students will receive meal swipes that can be used at participating dining vendors.

PantryRUN

Throughout my three years of working at the Pantry RUN as an undergraduate, I served the Rutgers community and did my part by helping the food insecurity on campus, which is an issue that is slowly diminishing on campus by providing food and resources.
