Throughout my three years of working at the Pantry RUN as an undergraduate, I served the Rutgers community and did my part by helping the food insecurity on campus, which is an issue that is slowly diminishing on campus by providing food and resources.
Bio: Michelle Baptista is a fourth-year student at Rutgers University - Newark, pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and minoring in Psychology. During her time as an undergraduate student, she has taken multiple classes involving race, crime, and justice. Additionally, she has taken a wide array of psychology classes involving stereotyping and discrimination. During the spring, she will be continuing her Criminal Justice studies at Rutgers- Newark while seeking Paralegal positions after graduation.
About the Office: I always talk highly about the Pantry RUN because it is a valuable resource for Rutgers students, faculty, and staff. Throughout my three years of working at the Pantry RUN as an undergraduate, I served the Rutgers community and did my part by helping the food insecurity on campus, which is an issue that is slowly diminishing on campus by providing food and resources. Being a part of Pantry RUN has allowed me to meet wonderful people who are a part of the Rutgers community. It has positively impacted my life in many ways, and I am very grateful to work here!
