Want to help create the campus of the future? Have a say through governing councils, and influence the lives of other students.
Student Governing Association (SGA): SGA is a governing council of elected student leaders who serve the interests of all undergraduates, part-time and full-time on the Newark campus. The SGA represents the School of Arts & Sciences-Newark, Rutgers Business School-Newark, School or Public Affairs and Administration, and School of Criminal Justice.
Program Board: Program Board is a governing council that coordinates campus-wide events and activities including comedy shows, concerts, festivals, parties, speakers, off-campus excursions and more!
Inter Fraternity Sorority Council (IFSC): IFSC serves as the governing council for all recognized Fraternities & Sororities and implements standards for membership intake, educational programs, scholarship, community service and leadership.
Participating in a fraternity or sorority weaves together multiple threads, including community service, scholarship, leadership, camaraderie, and fun. Fraternity & Sorority Life encompasses 22 Greek-lettered organizations including social, multicultural, and service-based groups. Joined together through the Inter-Fraternity and Sorority Council (IFSC), each individual organization carries benefits including opportunities for leadership development, scholastic achievement, promoting community service, and creating long-lasting friendships.
