This robust tool allows you to create a personal profile, identify organizations that match your interests and search for events by title, date, program type, or by perks such as free food! This user friendly tool can help current student leaders manage their organization, promote events, submit purchase requests, track event attendance, submit service hours while building their own co-curricular transcript. A training held before the start of the academic year designed for current student leaders to develop professional and leadership skills, learn about policies and procedures and get additional information about marketing strategies, reserving spaces on campus, processing purchase requests to ultimately run successful student organizations and further enhance them.
The purpose of this training that takes place after spring elections in April is to provide important updates, expectations, and resources to ensure a smooth transition takes place between the current eboard and the incoming eboard. ALL newly elected e-board members and at least two of the current e-board members, preferably the President and Treasurer are required to attend this training.
OSLL conducts at least 2-3 Faculty Staff Advisor (FSA) Trainings per academic year. The purpose of these training is to go over the roles and responsibilities of a FSA, familiarize them with OSLL policies and procedures and brainstorm strategies for student life advisors to work collaboratively with FSAs.
