My involvement with the New Student Family Program at Rutgers Newark has provided me with a broader range of knowledge, enabling me to grow not only as a better student but also as a better person. These keys of knowledge that I have received from this office's opportunities, like the First Year Leadership Retreat and being an Orientation Leader, have helped me to grow and push forward through tough decisions in my life by utilizing my growing skills as a leader to better bring me forward into my future. My advice to anyone coming to Rutgers Newark is a lesson I learned the hard way: there is no prize to perfection, only an end to pursuit, so enjoy the journey, that's what makes it all worth it.”
